Get to Moraine Lake By Car

From Lake Louise Village

The Moraine Lake Road is about 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) long and takes approximately 20 minutes to drive. Note that the road is open seasonally, usually from late May to mid-October, depending on snow conditions.

Parking

The parking lot at Moraine Lake is small and fills up quickly, often before sunrise during peak season. Consider arriving very early or using alternative transportation.

Parks Canada provides shuttle services from the Lake Louise Park and Ride to Moraine Lake. Reservations are highly recommended, especially during the summer and fall.
